Texarkana Country Club Results

The 3rd tournament  of the Farmers Bank & Trust Junior Golf Tour was played Thursday afternoon at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Arkansas.  Twenty-six junior golfers from throughout the area competed.

Connor Foster, from Prescott, took home first place in the Boys 15+ division with a 44. Graham Andrus, of Texarkana, won the Boys 13-14 division with a 42, and Ronald Deramus, of Idabel, placed second with a 61.  In the Boys 11-12 age group, Addison Cross led the field with a 38 and Jayden Tanner earned runner-up honors with a 39. Sawyer Hopkins won the Boys 9-10 division with a 47, while Davis Early earned runner-up with a 49.  Micah Glick won the Coed 8 & Under division with a 45, and Cole Young received runner-up with a 51.

Sophia Gavriel won the Girls 11-12 division with a 49, and Gabi Nevels earned runner-up honors with a 54.  Rounding out the Girls 9-10 division was Molly Phillips earning top billing with a 57, and Nora McCarley placing second with a 58.

The Farmers Bank & Trust Junior Golf Tour is a series of five golf tournaments held in the Spring and Summer for junior golfers.  Anyone age 19 and under, who has not yet attended college, is eligible to compete.  Overall winners in each age division will be eligible to play in the recently announced APT/WAPT Junior Pro-Am this summer.  The next tournament will be held May 2nd at Oak Grove Golf Club in New Boston, Texas.
